Over the past 5 years, PDM’s technical personnel have been watching and waiting for a reliable and robust solution in the wireless sensor market to fill the gap in our product portfolio. After a great deal of searching and evaluating, the wait is over. We are pleased to announce a new partnership with KCF Technologies.
A state-of-the-art hardware and software solution for sensor technology
The KCF system is comprised of a state-of-the-art hardware and software solution that combines the flexibility of high-quality wireless sensor technology with the option for wired sensors where the monitoring application demands them. At the heart of the system is the V3 sensor, a wireless biaxial vibration sensor that is easy to deploy and communicates directly to the KCF Base Station using a robust mesh network.
Add to this KCF’s SMARTdiagnostics for a complete solution to advanced machinery monitoring and diagnostics. SMARTdiagnostics was built to be as easy to use as it is powerful, and accessible to many different types of users. Intelligent data visualizations, customizable by job function, put actionable machine health information — from basic alarms to long-term optimization recommendations — in front of the right people at the right time
KCF was established in 2000 as a contractor for the DoD for CBM technologies on military vehicles and has grown to one of the largest providers of wireless condition monitoring technologies with over 150,000 sensors deployed around the globe serving a wide range of industries including:
- Automotive
- Forestry Products
